Big News: It's a...

And the news you have all been waiting for, whether you knew you were waiting or not, is finally here. Britt had her 20 week checkup today and the doctor says everything looks great. Good heart-rate, there's a brain in there, correct number of chambers in the heart, and hands feet and everything else you would like to see.

But, I am sure none of you care much about the details right now, you just want to know what kind of baby it is already. Well, before I tell you let me first give you the details of how we found out. As you can see from the pictures below, we had the doctor slip the ultrasound photo in an envelope this morning. Britt went off to work with the envelope (I don't think she trusted her husband) and we met up at the end of the day and took the envelope to the park. We opened it in Washington Park this afternoon as we watched the wildfire enhanced sunset and the rest is history. You'll just have to look through the photos to find out the news for yourselves.

Much to our surprise, and contrary to a lot of hippie wisdom and one clairvoyant woman we met in Telluride, our baby-to-be is a girl! We could not be happier.
