Been a long time and doing fine
Sorry that we have been MIA for so long, but that's actually a good thing as far as we are concerned. After the second trimester started off with a bang, kicks and some serious contractions, Britt is happy to report that she is doing quite well these days. She has a lot more energy than she has had at any point during the pregnancy and we are both enjoying feeling our little girl practice her gymnastics in Britt's belly. I like to think that I am feeling a wicked kick serve developing in there but it is really too early to tell.
As you can tell from the picture Britt's little baby bump is definitely growing. According to the doctors at the last checkup her belly now measures 24cm. Not surprising at all to me, she is growing at a textbook rate. She looks mighty cute though.
Britt and I will be taking her bump overseas in a couple of weeks. We are traveling to Israel. This will be Britt's second trip to the holy land and this time we will anchor ourselves in Tel Aviv. Rather than taking the traditional Wilkenfeld style trip complete with forced marches and breakneck travel itineraries, we instead will spend much of our time enjoying Tel Aviv and the beaches. We will venture north a bit and also head over to Jerusalem, but we are embracing relaxation on this trip.
